On behalf of Le Jardin's Board of Directors, you're cordially invited to celebrate the 9th annual "Art & Jazz Under The Stars Fundraiser"
to benefit Le Jardin's Early Head Start and Head Start program! Join us at the Seminole Theater and
witness beautiful renditions of art created by Le Jardin's talented children and families in collaboration with our teaching staff.

The Art & Jazz began nine years ago as a simple educational and interactive activity for children and their parents and has evolved into a much-awaited tradition for our families and members of the community.

The rendition of artwork is a cultural enhancement activity designed to extend learning beyond the classroom and encourage exploration of the arts. The event lets our young artists, parents, staff, and community artists, proudly display their work for all to admire and take home.

The process begins at least 3 months prior to the event, with students and parents learning about famous artists as they participate in instructional activities and hands-on learning using motor skill development, self-repressions, and visual processing. Students and parents learn about different art techniques, how to manipulate colors, work with different mediums, and implement brush strokes. Parent involvement is vital to the process of achieving the final product.

Quality early education is vital to the future of our community. Le Jardin relies on donations to help purchase classroom materials and equipment; provide training to keep staff current with best practices; offer parenting education and expand arts, science, technology, and math education.
